Position Overview
St. Vincent's Medical Center, in partnership with Southwest Family Health Center, is seeking a Per Diem Primary Care Faculty Physician to join the Internal Medicine Residency Program clinic in Bridgeport, Connecticut. This is an outstanding opportunity for a physician interested in teaching, mentorship, and academic medicine while maintaining a strong clinical focus-without the responsibility of managing an independent patient panel.
Faculty physicians provide primary care exclusively in collaboration with internal medicine residents and play a key role in shaping the next generation of physicians within a supportive, academically rich environment.
Position Highlights
- Per Diem - as needed for clinic coverage
- Clinical work is performed with residents
- Clinic Hours: Monday-Friday, no weekends
- No call

Qualifications
Candidate Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- Unrestricted State of Connecticut medical license (or eligible)
- Passion for medical education, teaching, and mentorship
- Interest in academic medicine and community-based care
