The Division of Thoracic Surgery and Interventional pulmonology at Hartford Healthcare is looking for a BE/BC thoracic surgeon to join our integrated team of surgeons, interventional pulmonologists, and physician assistants.

The extensive capabilities of the most integrated system in CT offer physicians MORE OPPORTUNITY to practice with nationally respected colleagues in a progressive, physician-led environment.  Our broad network includes seven acute care hospitals, one of the largest academic and surgical hospitals in the northeast, thriving community teaching hospitals, and one of the largest multi-specialty medical groups in New England with more than 1,000 providers.

·         Thoracic robotic block time on Da Vinci robots, including a DV5

·         Access to Ion and Monarch Robotic bronchoscopic platforms

·         Weekly multidisciplinary tumor board

·         Established programs for lung cancer screening and pulmonary nodules including a weekly pulmonary nodule conference

·         Academic opportunities – major clinical site for the UCONN thoracic surgery fellowship program, as well as General surgery residency
